Anolis Lighting Outside Sales Representative

The US subsidiary of Robe Lighting is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Anolis architectural lighting division. Robe is among the world’s leading moving light manufacturers, recognized for its innovation, quality engineering and dedication to the very highest production values

We are hiring an outside Sales Representative to help support our growing Anolis team in the U.S. This individual will work with our project managers, business development managers, regional sales managers, dealers, and rep agencies to promote sales of Anolis products in North America. The Anolis Sales Representative will be tasked with presenting Anolis products to independent manufacturers’ representatives, lighting designers, specifiers, Robe / Anolis dealers, and others. The ideal candidate will work closely with our sales and technical staff and will develop a strong knowledge of Anolis lighting fixtures and controls.

Anolis, a Robe Business, designs and manufactures the highest quality LED architectural lighting for a wide range of exterior and interior applications. All products are designed in our state-of-the-art R&D facility by industry experts with decades of experience in the field.

The outside Sales Representative will be responsible for coordinating and conducting live product demonstrations, field lighting mockups, open house events, tabletop exhibits for regional lighting industry showcases, and other events. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., configure, connect, and operate DMX and DALI controls and fixtures, coordinate electrical power requirements, and arrange for the shipment and tracking of Anolis equipment.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with System Integrators, Production Companies, Lighting Designers, Architects, Landscape Architects, and Interior Designers to create integrated, innovative interior and exterior lighting design solutions across several different market segments including hospitality, entertainment, religious, commercial, theme park, maritime, and special project applications.

The position requires extensive monthly travel (approximately 50%), primarily in the US and Canada. In addition, the successful candidate will prepare and execute product presentations for virtual meetings. They will also attend and present at tradeshows and Robe Lighting events.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with architectural lighting products (both Anolis and competitors), have the ability to analyze construction specifications and drawings to identify lighting sources and control devices, and possess general knowledge of construction drawings and experience with commercial lighting/controls is required.

Requirements

  • Experience in outside sales, preferably in the lighting or electrical industries

  • Completion of a Batchelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in architectural or entertainment lighting, construction management, or electrical estimating and contracting

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Familiarity with LED based architectural lighting luminaires, controls, and fixture placement, design, and applications

  • Experience with DMX controls, lighting control networks, and control system programming

  • Clean driving record

The position is available as an in-office (Florida or Nevada) or remote position.
