Robe moving lights have been installed for a new version of the ‘Spirit of The Horse’ show staged at the Australian Outback Spectacular, a hugely popular Warner Village theme park on the country’s Gold Coast.
The show’s Lighting and Projection Designer Clint Dulieu specified the Robe fixtures - 24 x ROBIN 600 LEDWashes and four ColorSpot 700E ATs - which were added to the venue’s existing static lighting system.
The new purchase was delivered by Robe’s Australian distributor, the ULA Group.
“The LEDWash 600s bring a completely new dynamic to the show. They are extremely bright and provide a comprehensive and even light coverage across the whole arena” states Clint.
He worked closely on developing the upgraded lighting scheme for the fast-paced show with Outback Spectacular General Manager, Shane Phillips.Original music was composed and written for the show by Australian country music legend Lee Kernaghan.
Since its inception in 2006, ‘Spirit of the Horse’ has entertained over a million guests, re-telling the Australian Outback story and paying tribute to Australian stock men, women and the unique role of horses in this seminal element of the country’s social history.
