Massive preparations were made by Robe’s Hungarian distributor Colossal Ltd before the Soundquest Fair in Budapest, to ensure that their booth would be the most spectacular in the whole event.

The installation was challenging due to its size and special surfaces, and thanks to Robe Lighting, Colossal received all the support they needed.

The booth was designed by Adam Nagy and Csaba Csanádi from Colossal, using fixtures primarily pulled from hire stock.

Several new Robe products were displayed, notably the 700 Series, the DigitalSpot 5000 DT, MediaHub 2x4 DT, MediaServer Qube Control, StageQube 324 and ColorSpot 2500E AT. Also the latest LED Blinders and the LED Wash, featuring the superbright K2 LEDs, plus the full range of Anolis architectural LED products. Other popular Robe AT Series fixtures were also on display, along with examples from the CT Club series.

The Hungarian market is relatively compact, but Colossal saw massive interest in all the Robe products, and specifically in the AT and Club Series.

Says Colossal’s Csanádi Csaba, “Users really want reliable products above anything else, so the Robe brand is getting stronger and stronger, specially thanks to those rental companies who have invested in and pioneered the establishment of the brand.”

“We saw clients from all market sectors with different interests” he continues “New horizons also opened up for us, particularly in architectural markets and for stand building for exhibitions. All the new Robe products created a buzz - visual companies and designers were impressed with the DigitalSpot 5000 DT and how it could work in their domain”.

He says that generally, the exhibition was good not only for the trade clients but for the general public. Many users and specifiers from a diverse range of sectors became acquainted with Robe during the fair.
